横浜は赤レンガ倉庫にほど近い歴史的構造物「ハンマーヘッド」を擁するハンマーヘッドパーク。
その公園内にバリアフリー施設【エレベーター塔】の設計監理をしました。
2019年から20年にかけて世間がコロナに翻弄されている中、
まさにダイヤモンドプリンセス号が停泊している港に超然と佇むクレーン。
その足元に旅客ターミナルの利用者や観光客のためにつくられたこの施設は、横浜市港湾局の発注案件です。
なるべく主張しないように且つすっきりとしたデザインを追求しました。
こういった所にもデザイン活動があるんだということを、訪れる皆さんに知って頂きたいです。
